Royce "Booger" Pruit, Longest Serving Sheriff in America, Passes Away 1/22/13

Glasscock County - Royce "Booger" Pruit, who served as sheriff for 50 years, has passed away.
He was the longest serving sheriff in the United States, starting his career on this day back in 1962.
According to the Glasscock County Sheriff, there will be a gravesite ceremony in Garden City starting at 10:30AM on Thursday.
Law enforcement from across West Texas are expected to attend.
