ODESSA - Cyclists hit the streets today in Odessa for the first ever Comanche Cross Bike Race.
From adults to children, the three-race series marked a new tradition in the city.
But cyclists say the course is tougher than you might think.
"It was a really intense race, a lot harder than I thought it would be. It was my first, and I think it went well," cyclist Josh Hoke said.
There were no winners of the race as organizers wanted it to be a friendly competition for riders.
Planners also hope to make the Comanche Cross an annual event.
