According to City officials, Fairgrounds Road is back open.

At this time Oncor tells CBS 7 power has been restored to those affected in Midland.
The Fairgrounds road is still closed at this time please use caution on your morning commute.

Midland Tx. - A crash in north Midland sends two people to the hospital and caused some headaches for residents in the area.
It happened on Fairgrounds and Loop 250 around 2:30 this morning.
According to Midland Police the driver was travelling at a high speed when the vehicle rolled over and knocked a over a utility pole.
Some electrical lines fell onto the street which has caused Fairgrounds to be closed from Loop 250 to Wadley
You are urged to avoid this area.
This also caused some power outages in north east Midland. Power will be restored in a few hours.
The two people in the crash were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, alcohol was a factor.
