MIDLAND, TX - A Midland City Councilman is urging council to move their meetings to the evening. Currently the meetings are held at 10am but councilman John James says he wants the City's leaders to be as accessible as possible.
James says government works better when citizens are engaged, and more Midlanders will be able to attend the meetings if they are held after normal work hours. Councilman James is recommending one evening meeting to be held each quarter.
