UPDATE: CBS 7 Confirms 3 Dead In Collision (Raw Video)
UPDATE: Fatal Crash: Identification Confirmed for One Victim 1/15/13

UPDATE: 2:30 PM****
Despite reports from other stations CBS 7 has been able to confirm with Midland Memorial Hospital staff that the fourth person involved in this morning's crash that killed three is still alive and remains under "guarded" condition.
UPDATE: 12:50 PM****
The driver of the white truck who died is Manuel Loera according to his company Hooper Trucking Co.
Employees tell CBS 7 he worked there for 26 years and he was like family.
UPDATE: 10:15 AM****
Troopers on the scene tell CBS 7 out of the three people in the silver truck one person was transported to Medical Memorial the other two died in the crash.
The driver of the white truck also died in the collision.
According to troopers on the scene the silver truck was in the wrong lane when the white truck collided. It is believed both vehicles swerved in the same direction. No brake marks on the scene leads DPS to believe the drivers did not have time to brake.
DPS is investigating the collision.

A source tells CBS 7 that one driver was attempting to pass another vehicle at a no pass zone.
UPDATE: 8:00 AM****
At this time CBS 7 has confirmed at least one person is dead in the car collsion.

Troopers on the scene tells CBS 7 that 3 people were killed in the collision on FM 1778 and West County Road 160.
At this time Tx-Dot has closed FM 1788 while emergency crews are working on the accident.
Our crew on the scene tells us two pickup trucks were involved.
