This week's Sunday’s Child is a sweet and shy young man. We met at the bowling ally and I enjoyed his subtle sense of humor.
Martin is 13-years-old and he loves to stay active.
“I like sports, like track. I like the 4x4 and football. Right now I’m the kicker.”
He’s a typical boy.
“In the summer I like to go camping.”
Martin has spent most of his life in and out of foster homes and group homes. But he dreams of having a permanent family...to help him reach his personal goals.
“I'm looking forward to be a kid. Getting off my medicine; Doing stuff as a family.”
Family is a tough word for Martin. He loves his siblings, but they have already been adopted.
"I’m happy for them. For both of them."
This kid is a pleasure and he'll make a great addition to the right family.
"I’m nice and I care about people."
