Permian Basin Unemployment Rate Lowest in the State 1/11/13

Good news continues to flow on the jobs front in the Permian Basin.
Overall, the latest numbers show our state's unemployment rate is down to 6.2 percent--well below the national average of 7.7 percent.
The Permian Basin is enjoying numbers even lower than that.
Midland has the lowest unemployment rate in Texas, at 3.0 percent, and Odessa came in second with a rate 3.6 percent.
