ODESSA, TX - Verizon cellphone services are back up .
We called Verizon for the reason why services were down in cities across West Texas; they would not release the information.
Officials say that there was an issue with the towers and now it is repaired.

ODESSA, TX – Verizon cellphone services are currently down in Odessa, Abilene and surrounding cities.
Officials with the telephone service say there is possibly a problem with their towers.
Currently they have workers checking towers to see what exactly is causing the problem.
They say that many users have filed “trouble tickets”.
