UPDATE: Ambulance Lost Control After Hitting Slick Spot 1/9/13 UPDATE: 3:00pm

There were two rollover crashes involving Ambulances.

One in Odessa, and the other was on Highway 302, about 2 miles east of Kermit.

That Ambulance was enroute to an 18-wheeler rollover on 302.

Law enforcement tells us the driver of the truck was ejected.

UPDATE 11:41am ***
The Odessa Police Department responded to a call of a one vehicle roll over that occurred on West Loop 338 at West University.

The investigation revealed that a 2009 Chevrolet, Rescue 4, was travelling west on University and made a left turn to get on the ramp to the loop.

The vehicle hit a slick spot on the road and the driver lost control, went off the road and turned on its side. The driver and passenger of the unit reported no injuries. No citation issued.

The Odessa Police Department was notified of a one vehicle roll over involving a city Fire-Rescue Unit (Rescue 4).

Rescue 4 was enroute to a major accident on Moss north of Interstate 20. There were two medics on board and they reported no injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
