Officials on the scene tell CBS 7 that the person inside the house was an elderly woman. She has been transported and is in ICU. They believe the fire started in the living room, though the cause is still unknown.

ODESSA – One woman is being treated for unknown injuries in an early morning fire. The fire was reported around 5am at the 4200 block of Redbud. The person who called 911 told emergency officials they had been knocking on the door but no one answered.
Firefighters reported seeing a small fire in the front of the house.
While conducting a search of the home, firefighters found one woman inside the home. She is being treated for unknown injuries.
