One Person Killed In Martin County Crash 1/8/13

(Martin County)- A 50-year-old San Antonio man is dead of injuries he sustained in a crash with a tractor trailer north of Midland.
It happened about 1:00 Tuesday afternoon on the Tom Craddick highway, west of Highway 349 in Martin County.
DPS troopers say Lance Schneider's Chevy truck drifted and struck a Mac truck hauling a trailer on the left side.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured, but a passenger in the Chevy, 22-year-old Dennie Schlag of Atascosa, Texas was seriously injured and is the hospital in Midland.
TxDOT was forced to block off the highway for a while to help clean-up the scene.
