Odessa - Clean out your medicine cabinet for the new year. Medical Center Health System officials say expired medications are just one of the reasons to throw out your old drugs. You should sack up medications which have been recalled, have changed in appearance, smell "funny", no longer are needed or have been stored improperly.
Don't get rid of those unneeded drugs by flushing them or throwing them down your sink. Come to the sky bridge beneath Medical Center Hospital on January 9 from four to five P.M. That's located at 5th Street and Alleghaney. officials advise that medicine take back days occur on the second Wednesday of every month. This is an anonymous program. All medicine received will be destroyed in compliance with federal law.
