Major Accident on Highway 349 1/6/13

UPDATE: 8:30pm
MIDLAND - According to Midland DPS, two vehicle and an 18-wheeler headed southbound on Texas Highway 349 collided with each other.
One driver was sent to Midland Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
Traffic on Texas Highway 349 is currently being re-routed, according to Troopers working the scene.
DPS Trooper tells us that there might be citations pending the accident investigation.

Scanner traffic reports a major multiple-car accident on the 3000 block of South Highway 349.
Emergency personnel have been called in and there are uncomfirmed reports that both lanes of the highway have been closed.
