Woman Stabbed Several Times in Odessa Parking Lot 1/4/13

Odessa - Police have arrested a 30-year-old man after witnesses say he brutally stabbed a 28-year-old woman.
It happened around 12:40PM in the 1500 block of West County Road.
Police say Joshua Garcia Chavarria had called the victim and asked her to meet him in the parking lot.
When she got there, he reportedly stabbed her several times with a knife.
Chavarria was arrested without incident.
The woman was taken to Medical Center Hospital where she is undergoing surgery for her injuries.
