WASHINGTON - The recent fiscal cliff talks between the White House and Congress may have caused some anxious moments for taxpayers, but many economists say the job market held up during that stressful time.
The experts tell FactSet that hiring probably remained steady in December, with an unemployment rate staying at 7.7 percent.
The government releases jobless figures later this morning.
