Tx-Dot and the Odessa Police Department confirm that I-20 (at Grant Avenue has been cleared of hazardous debris and is open to normal traffic.

Odessa Police confirms that a Ford F150 hauling a trailer was traveling eastbound on Interstate 20 when it hit a patch of ice, lost control, and went into the median. The truck flipped over and crossed into the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 hitting a Ford F250. The impact caused the Ford F250 to catch on fire.
When it flipped, the Ford F150 scattered tubular rods and blasting caps across the roadway. East and westbound lanes of traffic on Interstate 20, at Grant Avenue, are closed until further notice. The Odessa Bomb Unit is on scene working to clear the rods and caps from the road.
The driver of the Ford F150, Armando Marin, 45 years old of Monahans and his passenger, Manuel Lyles, 25 years old of Monahans were transported to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford F250, Tommy Stoglin, 50 years old of Odessa, was also taken to MCH with non-life-threatening injuries.

CBS 7 has confirmed with Odessa Police that the rollover wreck on Grant and I-20 has scattered blasting caps across the roadway.
Police are asking that everyone to avoid the area. ****** ODESSA – CBS 7 crews are on the scene of a rollover wreck that reportedly exploded on I-20 near Grant Ave. This is one of three rollovers law enforcement is working on I-20 right now. The other two are near JBS Parkway and Grandview Ave.
