Runaway Fugitive Linked to Drug Cartels, Still On The Run 1/3/13

MARTIN COUNTY, TX – Today US Marshals, Police and Martin County Sheriffs Deputies began searching homes, kicking down doors and tracing back the links to find where 25-year-old Eric Ray Perez is hiding.
In the search law enforcement officials discovered that Perez is linked to a drug cartel.
Today law enforcement officials that are taking part in the manhunt say they've searched many homes of his associates and found large amounts of drugs. Anyone found with Perez will be charged with harboring a fugitive.
Today officers believed they'd found him but it was another man with warrants out.
Midland Crime Stoppers is now offering up to $1,000 to the first person with information leading to the arrest of Eric Ray Perez.
Perez is currently wanted for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, identity theft and evading. If you see this man or know of his whereabouts do not approach him. Police believe he could be armed and dangerous
