Breezy Winds Today 12/31/12
Monday Morning Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
After a little rainfall last night, dry conditions are moving back into West Texas. Look for highs today in the upper 50’s to around 60. Skies will be partly cloudy and winds will be on the increase. Expect a west winds 15-25mph through the middle of the day.
A cold front will move into the area on Tuesday. This will bring much colder air into the forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the 40’s and lows will drop into the lower 20’s for the middle of the week. A slight chance of wintry weather will be possible on Thursday for some locations. However, the lack of moisture and the southern track of an upper level storm system suggest most of the precipitation will miss our area.
Warmer air will begin to move into the region this weekend.
