Family Able to Afford Funeral Costs for Shooting Victim 12/30/12

Odessa - Funeral arrangements have been set for the victim of the Christmas Eve shooting in Odessa.
Fifty-year-old Venesta Davis will be laid to rest this Wednesday.
Family members say they were able to pull the funds together from the bank account they set up in town.
Davis's son, 20-year-old Andrew Darius Thurman is still being treated at Medical Center Hospital. He's listed in critical condition.
L.C. Davis Jr. was arrested after a car chase earlier this week in connection with the shooting. He is charged with first degree murder, family violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
