FAA Investigating Emergency Helicopter Landing 12/30/12

Photos courtesy Big Lake Wildcat News.Big Lake - The Federal Aviation Association is investigating the hard landing of a medical helicopter in Big Lake yesterday.
DPS tell CBS 7 it was a MedTran helicopter carrying two nurses and a patient from Ft. Stockton to San Angelo at the time of the emergency landing.
One of the propellers was broken and part of the tail did come off.
DPS did say the cause of the emergency landing was due to mechanical problems.
One of the nurses, 47-year-old Beth Cooper of San Antonio, was injured in the crash.
She was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
