UPDATE: Odessa Double-Shooting - Homicide Confirmed 12/25/12

UPDATE 2:15 pm
OPD responded to a call around 9-thirty last night on the 3-hundred block of south dixie, concerning two gunshot victims.
On the scene, they found 44-year-old Venesta Davis dead.
The second victim, Davis's son, 20-year-old Andrew Darius Thurman, was taken to Medical Center Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The alleged shooter, Davis's ex-husband, L.C. Davis Junior, is still at large.
Police have issued a warrant for his arrest and caution that he should be considered "armed and dangerous."
Davis is a 55-year-old black male--6 feet one inch tall, weighing about 175 pounds.
He was last seen driving a pewter or tan 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche that has some front-end damage.

BREAKING NEWS: Odessa Police are responding to a shooting near the 300 block of S Dixie near the Ector County Cemetery. According to scanner reports, two people were found with gunshot wounds. Stay with CBS 7 and CBS7.com for the latest on this developing story.
