Odessa - Odessans now have the power to lower your sewer bill.
The city is now calculating residential sewer bills calculated on the average water used for billing periods ending this month, January and February.
This means you can control your bill by controlling your water consumption during these months.
If your usage is less, you'll see a lower bill beginning April 2013.
