Stanton - If you plan on taking a visit to the Martin County Hospital Emergency Room, you need to be aware of some changes.
Anyone coming into the ER will receive a medical exam. If the staff does not deem your case as an emergency, you now have two options.
You can either pay a $200 fee for immediate treatment, or make an appointment at the health clinic for the following day.
Hospital officials say this should cut down on their ER out-patient care.
