Marfa - Marfa ISD is preparing for teacher cuts.
School officials say the employee cuts come after a budget deficit. They say six to eight teachers and two part time positions will have to be cut.
However, the board has adopted an early resignation notice incentive program for staff members.
Anyone who commits to leaving their position by the end of next year will receive five percent of their total annual salary as incentive.
