Your Christmas Eve will be a mild day across West Texas and southeast New Mexico. Temperatures will be a bit above average, into the mid 60's, with partly to mostly sunny skies. The big weather change will come early Christmas morning, as a strong cold front moves across the area, bringing strong winds in its wake. By around noon Christmas Day, winds will be out of the northwest at 25 to 35 miles per hour, with gusts near 45. Temperatures will also drop, with highs on Christmas day only in the low to mid 40's. Christmas night will be especially cold, with lows in the teens.
