ODESSA / MIDLAND - A local sporting goods store teamed up with two elementary schools to “give back” to the community today.
Academy Sports held its 11th annual *bike donation* program this morning at Odessa's Sam Houston and Midland's South Elementary schools.
Academy donated 60 bikes and helmets to the schools. The schools will give the bikes to students to reward them for academic performance, perfect attendance, and good behavior.
Overall, Academy will donate over $200,000 worth of goods this year, benefiting over 2,100 students.
