Pecos County Memorial Hospital Considering Purchasing 4th Rural Health Clinic 12/10/12

Ft. Stockton – The Pecos County Memorial Hospital is considering adding another rural health clinic to their services.
Hospital officials are considering purchasing the Subodh Mallik Rural Health Clinic, which would be the fourth rural health clinic in the PCMH system.
If purchased, the clinic will still run exactly the same as it is now.
Hospital officials say the reason behind purchasing this clinic is to lighten the E.R. load. They the majority of patients they see are non-emergency.
Official contracts will not be drawn until the first of the year.
