ODESSA - Today members of the First Baptist Church in Midland gathered at the Midland Center.
This was the congregation’s first service after their building is under renovations was damaged by a fire.
At their first service after the fire, members of First Baptist say their building might be damaged but their faith is only strengthened by this disaster.
The Midland Center was crowded this morning as the First Baptist Church Congregation worshiped in the midst of a burned building. Church leaders said a special prayer leading in their faith to make a fast recovery and return to their usual campus.
As we reported earlier this week, the fellowship hall was severely damaged after a fire broke out last Monday morning. Their event calendar will remain the same for the rest of the year out of the Midland Center.
If you will like to help out on their recovery, you can email the following event organizers.
