One Man Dead After Chase With Ector County Sheriff’s Deputies 12/8/12

ODESSA, TX- One man is dead after a chase involving Ector County Sheriff’s Deputies.
DPS officials say the crash happened Friday night at approximately 11:00pm in the 4400 block of University in Odessa.
DPS officials say 28-year-old Marcus Hernandez, from Andrews, tried to evade the Ector County Sheriff Deputies on his motorcycle heading east on University.
Hernandez lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a semi truck’s trailer.
Hernandez died at the scene. DPS says he was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash. The driver of the truck was not injured during the crash.
