(Goldsmith)- The investigation continues into what caused a massive pipeline explosion at the D-C-P Plant in Goldsmith.
Around 8:00 am this morning electricity came back on for the residents living nearby.
Fire officials say that the natural gas services should be back on soon.
Fire officials say they do not know the cause of the pipeline rupture.
According to officials, the explosion happened when a 16-inch pipeline ruptured around 6 pm last night.
Fire officials say they shut down the natural gas flow in the plant and let the remaining gas burn out slowly.
No injuries have been reported.
Odessa fire officials say the pipeline is owned by West Texas Gas Company.
The blaze lasted for a few hours before coming to a stop.
