US Fish and Wildlife Service Debating Whether to Put Lesser Prairie Chicken on Endangered Species List 12/3/12

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has begun the process of considering whether to put the Lesser Prairie Chicken on the Endangered Species List.
The service will be making a final decision on the best available science, but they also want to hear from you.
You are encouraged to comment on the proposal during the 90 day public comment period.
The Prairie Chicken lives in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
