Andrews - Operation Blessing is gearing to help less fortunate families in our area and they need your help to make this a reality.
The non-profit makes gift baskets for families in need and also provides toys for their children.
In the past, they have provided baskets for up to 20 families.
You can donate non perishable food items and toys and money.
You can also volunteer your time in putting the baskets together from 4:00-8:00PM on December 18th.
You can help pass out the baskets and toys the following day from 4:00-8:00PM.
To drop off food or toys, you can stop by the following locations:
Andrews Health Department
Andrews Fire Department
Andrews Police Department
Andrews County Sheriff's Office
Sewell Andrews
Stanley Ford
Alco
Urenco USA
Waste Control Specialists
Suddenlink
Andrews Chamber of Commerce
Applications to volunteer must be submitted to Zulema Prieto at the Health Department no later than this Friday, December 7th.
There will be a meeting at 11:00AM on December 11th for more information on the food and toy drive at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
