Texas Sports Hall 2012 Class Includes Brees, Shaq 11/29/12

WACO - New Orleans Saints quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees and 15-time NBA All-Star Shaquille O'Neal have been selected as part of the 2012 class for the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
Former Cowboys running back Walt Garrison, Baseball Hall of Fame third baseman Eddie Mathews and Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams from Texas also are to be inducted Feb. 18. Also to be inducted are former University of Texas softball player Catherine "Cat" Osterman and former Lubbock Monterey High School baseball coach Bobby Moegle.
The Hall of Fame said Wednesday that there is an eighth member of the 2012 class still to be announced.
Brees and Mathews are Texas natives. O'Neal played high school basketball in San Antonio.
