Large Fire Destroys Odessa Home 11/23/12

Emergency crews are on the scene of a structure fire near Permian High School.
It happened right after 8:00 PM this evening in the 4100 block of Melody Lane.
CBS 7 crews on the scene say law enforcement has blocked off the entire block.
There was heavy smoke in the area.
At least one home was destroyed.
One neighbor tells the Odessa American they heard something like an explosion right before the fire.
Hazmat crews were reported on their way to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
