Odessa, TX - West Texans are out in full force, taking advantage of black Friday deals as retailers opened their doors earlier than ever on thanksgiving.
Music City Mall gave out 500 gift bags to the first comers. Four of those bags had a $500 gift card to the mall.
“You just have crowds that were lining up early,” said Roy Allen, The General Manager of Music City Mall. He says even though many retail stores opened their doors as early as Thanksgiving night, there was still hype early in the morning.
“Everybody is excited and there is just a lot if enthusiasm for the season,” he said
Allen says extended holiday hours will begin soon and to many shoppers that’s music to their ears.
“It’s worth the rush,” said a black Friday shopper.
