Texan Gets Prison, Must Pay $1.3M to Porn Victim 11/20/12

MCALLEN - A South Texas man who pleaded guilty in a child
pornography investigation must serve more than 17 years in prison and pay the
victim $1.3 million.
Prosecutors in McAllen say a federal judge yesterday afternoon sentenced
45-year-old Reynaldo Vega of Mission. Vega in April pleaded guilty to receiving
child pornography via the Internet.
Investigators say Vega viewed and shared the child porn images. He must pay
restitution to the one known victim of the scheme going back to August 2011 when
Vega's home was raided.
