Texas Recycles Day Event Gathers Huge Crowds 11/17/12

MIDLAND – Today West Texans came out to recycle electronics on the 9th Annual Texas Recycles Day event in Midland.
Event organizer says it is the single largest recycling event in Midland. It happens every year. This is the ninth year.
As you can see behind me they are sorting items, placing them in carton boxes, loading then into freights and shipping them to a recycling center.
Organizers say the lines are shorter this year. People are bringing fewer items. They say it is because people are recycling more often.
