NTSB: All Train Track Sensors, Signals Working Properly Time of Fatal Crash 11/17/12

Midland - Today the National Transportation Safety Board continued their investigation into what happened on the train tracks.
Federal investigators say the warning signals at a railroad crossing in west Texas were activated before a parade float cross the tracks, leading to an accident that killed military veterans.
NTSB member, Mark Rosekind made that announcement at a news conference today. He said the signals had been activated seven seconds before the float crossed the tracks.
Officials with Midland Memorial Hospital say two victims from the crash remain in the hospital today. One is in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
Four veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan were killed Thursday when a freight train slammed into the parade float in Midland, 16 people were injured.
