West Texans Come Out and Recycle on Texas Recycles Day 11/17/12

MIDLAND - Today West Texans came out to recycle electronics on the 9th Annual Texas Recycles Day in Midland.
The event was held at the Midland College Campus on Wadley St. Event organizer says it is the single largest recycling event in Midland. It happens every year and this is the 9th year.
Nearly 150 volunteers showed up to sort items into categories and loading them into freights and taking them to a recycling center out of town.
Organizers say the lines are short. People are bringing fewer items to recycle. They say it is because people are recycling more often.
