Union Pacific Railroad Officals: Sending Thoughts and Prayers To Families Affected 11/15/12
Railroad officials send their thoughts and prayers to families affected by the “Hunt for Heroes” train wreck.
Union Pacific Railroad spokesman, Tom Lange, says at 4:40 p.m. an eastbound train collided with a tractor-trailer.
Lange says gates and lights were working during the time of the collision, and train crews sounded the horn.
Train crews were not physically injured and peer-to-peer counseling will be available for crewmembers.
Union Pacific Railroad Southern region spokeswoman, Raquel Espinoza, is traveling to Midland to evaluate the needs for the community.
