TxDOT to Hold Public Meetings This Week to Discuss Highly Trafficked Roads 6/16/13
Additional Interstate 20 Ramps Planned in Monahans, Public Meeting to Outline Proposal on Thursday 11/14/12

MONAHANS — The Odessa District of the Texas Department of Transportation has scheduled an open-house style meeting to solicit public comments and input on a proposal to add two exit ramps on Interstate 20 near the city of Monahans. A westbound exit ramp would be east of Highway 18, and an eastbound exit ramp would be west of Loop 464.
The public meeting is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Ward County Convention Center, 400 E. Fourth St. in Monahans.
The purpose of this public meeting is to gather input on the proposal and hear any concerns regarding either of the two ramps. Construction of the ramps is not expected to require the acquisition of any additional right-of-way but may alter existing travel patterns in the area.
TxDOT representatives will be at the public meeting to discuss the projects and answer questions. Exhibits will be on display but no formal presentation is scheduled. Forms will be provided in order to receive written comments. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
