MIDLAND, TX - The Midland Fire Department says they’re seeing an increase in EMS calls in the Tall City.

Fire officials say they have responded to more EMS calls than calls on fires on a daily basis. They say that EMS calls overall are up about 5 % for the year. In the county, they are up 16% and 4.5% in the city.

Fire officials say most of the calls are for small traumas related to falls and car accidents.
