Much Cooler Today 11/12/12
Monday Morning Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
After a very cold start to the morning, temperatures will climb into the mid and upper 50’s under the influence of sunny skies. A few clouds will drift into the far western counties and the Presidio Valley. These clouds will drift into the southern parts of the Permian Basin tonight. This will keep temperatures in the 30’s south of I-20. However, locations north of I-20 will likely drop into the upper 20’s to around 30 with clear skies in place.
Sunny skies are again expected across much of the area tomorrow afternoon. As a result, highs will climb closer to 60 degrees. Expect the winds to swing around to the south.
Wednesday will start out cold but will warm quickly. Highs will reach into the mid to upper 60’s. This trend will continue through the weekend. Highs will bounce all the way back to near 70 by Sunday. A few extra clouds will settle into the region this weekend but little in the way of rain is expected through at least the weekend.
