Explosion Levels Homes in Indianapolis; 2 Dead 11/11/12

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Fire officials in Indianapolis are investigating the cause of massive explosion last night.

The blast sparked a huge fire that's damaged homes in a two-block radius. About three dozen homes were damaged or destroyed and two people were killed.

Firefighters have been going through burned and damaged homes one by one after putting out the fire that started after the explosion at about 11 p.m. Saturday.

Deputy Fire Chief Kenny Bacon also says seven people were taken to a hospital with injuries.

The victims' names have not yet been released.
