Boy Scouts Help Stuff and Sort Truck Food Drive 11/10/12

CBS 7 News
November 10, 2012

Odessa - Even more food from national donors will be diverted away from the West Texas Food Bank because of the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.

And with the holidays approaching, it is critical to fill the Odessa warehouse with food that will feed hungry families throughout the winter as the nights get colder.
To help, the boy scouts pitched in today for a Stuff and Sort the Truck Food Drive at Albertsons grocery store in Odessa.

"We believe that community services is a very crucial part of what the Boy Scouts does and we want to give back and help in what ever we can," Chase McKinney with the Boy Scouts said.

West Texas Food Bank says winter months are one of their busiest times.
