MIDLAND, TX 11/06/2012 – On Monday November 5, 2012 at approximately 10:25 p.m., MPD responded to The Smoothie King, located at 2200 W. Wadley, in reference to a Robbery. The suspect was gone upon the arrival of the officers. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 30 and 40. He was approximately 5'11", heavy set build with short buzz cut dark hair. He was wearing a navy blue hoody similar to the Carhart brand. The suspect entered the business and began to order a smoothie. The suspect then ordered the two female employees (one a juvenile the, other a minor) to give him all the money. The suspect then ordered the girls to lay prone on the floor and fled in an unknown direction with approximately $600.00 in cash. Both Detectives and CSIs were notified and responded. The investigation continues.
