Local Red Cross on the Way to Help Sandy Survivors 11/1/12

As the Northeast is taking stock of the overwhelming devastation left from superstorm Sandy, help from West Texas is on the way.
Our local Red Cross chapter has been called into action and left today to aid those impacted by the storm.
More than 9-thousand people stayed at Red Cross facilities in 13 states following the storm.
The organization is anticipating recovery work to continue through Thanksgiving in some of the affected areas.
