Man Dies After Pedestrian-Truck Crash 10/31/12

MIDLAND TX 10/24/2012 – On October 23, 2012 at 9:52 PM, a red 2001 F-150 pickup was traveling East in the 1500 Block of W. Industrial. A pedestrian, dressed in dark clothing, was crossing the roadway. The pedestrian, who was not in a crosswalk, failed to yield the right of way to the pickup. The pickup struck the pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
No traffic/criminal violations are pending.
UPDATE 10/31/12
On 10/30/12 the victim, Kevin Story age 52, died from his injuries. No charges will be filed.
