WARD COUNTY, TX – The Ward County Pipeline project is moving forward on schedule but the need for the alternative source of water might not be as urgent as it once was. According to the Colorado River Municipal Water District officials, the pipeline is scheduled to be online by mid-December but due to recent rainfall, our surface water supply is enough to last 18 months. The Ward County water has been said to be a back up source for when surface water is unavailable.
