Odessa - Any house or building uninhabitable or unsecured is considered an unsafe structure and is illegal.
Unsafe structures in the City limits are unsightly and dangerous creating safety as well as fire hazards. Owners who do not maintain their property will be responsible for accidents or the cost of repairs or demolition of the property. Please help keep our City safe and clean by maintaining buildings and houses.
October is National Code Enforcement Awareness Month. Code Enforcement Officers in the City of Odessa work with businesses and residents to promote awareness of City codes to keep our City a safe and clean place to live, work and play.
